  2. After completing the power cycle modem automatically, you can switch on your Wireless/Wired router. Now, your router will create a connection with your modem. Wait for a few minutes until the connection gets established. You will see a solid green color LED light visible on your router.
  3. Switch on all the wireless and wired devices.

Situation 2: You have your DSL/Cable modem router

  1. Shut down or turn off all the networking devices such as your DSL/Cable modem router as well as all the wireless and wired devices.
  2. Switch on your DSL/Cable gateway before any other device and allow it to boot up. Give it a few minutes, so the DSL/Cable modem router can complete the syncing process and establish a connection with the ISP. The LED lights will become stable, verifying the successful synching.
  3. After your DSL/Cable Gateway finishes the ISP connection process, you can switch on all your wireless devices and wired devices as well.
